Showers with possible thunderstorms developing this afternoon across the Gold Coast and south-east Queensland.
Radar image at 1:12pm (right) shows heavy but isolated falls just south of the border and lighter falls around the southern hinterland crossing the coast.
Storm probability maps (left, from bsch.com.au) show that storm development is possible (in yellow) this afternoon before moving offshore by 7pm.
Official forecast is for scattered showers developing, becoming more likely in the afternoon, then becoming less likely at night. The chance of thunderstorms from early this afternoon.
